My guests finally arrived today, they have only missed 21 safaris and 12 different tigers, so not too much! The afternoon was cloudy and we even had the first drops of the pre-monsoon rains early in the afternoon. We choose Zone 3 and bumped into T17 quite early on watching a herd of chital on Padam Talao. She was watching them keenly from a patch of long grass on the edge of the lake but they were too far away for her to charge. She eventually moved onto Rajbagh and we left her stalking another herd of deer at 18:30 as our time was up. Again, with her wearing a radio-collar I try to shoot very loose showing the habitat or head on and tight so the collar is not visible. I hate that collar and know one day in the future it is going to cost me a great picture!!
